This project started out as part of a recycling topic as the class found the log outside. It was really dirty and covered in black bark. As a way to further develop fine motor skills the class began to remove the bark bit by bit. However, Laraib enjoyed seeing how the log was changing each time she cleaned it, removed all the bark and finally sanded it down. Laraib really enjoyed making it and was helped a little at the end by David at the PVC, to fix on the tealight holders.
Laraib visited all classes in PVC and asked for them to privately bid how much they would pay for her work. Teacher Adele Berry was the highest bidder with £35.01

The money will go towards class outdoor play resources.
