🍁 Fall Festival Magic at Coop Academy Southfield! 🎃

What a wonderful day hosting our future Year 6 students who will be joining us next September! It was fantastic seeing so many excited faces exploring their new school community.

A massive shout-out to our incredible Sixth Form students, who gained valuable work experience today running the event. They kept everyone warm with delicious hot chocolate and biscuits, put on a fantastic performance, and helped the Year 6s craft some truly spooky Halloween masks! 🎨🎭🍿

Meanwhile, students had a blast in our sensory area:
🌾 Building their very own scarecrows
🎃 Exploring the inside of pumpkins
🕸️ Practising communication and sharing their likes and dislikes while exploring sensory "spiderwebs" and "witches' warts" (delicious green popcorn!).

Thank you to everyone who made today so special. We can't wait to welcome our new Year 6 cohort officially next autumn! 🍂✨
