Co-op Academy Southfield School Uniform
At Co-op Academy Southfield School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to our ethos and sense of pride. Uniform shows that we are a community. Wearing it says we are all in this together. School uniform is compulsory for all new children from September 2026. All new students will be provided with a free branded jumper from 2026.
As part of Co-op Academies Trust, we are working together to have a single supplier across all schools, this supplier will hopefully be in place by September 2027. The goal of this project is to further reduce costs for our families. We will be in touch with details when we have them.
Why do we wear school uniform:
-
Is a signifier that your child is going to school.
-
Reinforces the structures and routines that many of our children need to feel less anxious.
-
Gives your child a sense of belonging.
Everyday Uniform at Co-op Academy Southfield consists of:
-
Navy Sweatshirt with a Co-op Academy Southfield logo
-
A plain royal blue Polo shirt (no logo)
-
PE T-shirt with a Co-op Academy Southfield logo
We are flexible about the trousers/shoes your child wears as we recognise that children need to feel comfortable and that tricky fastenings may hinder developing life skills
