As you may be aware, Bradford Council has recently changed its School Transport Policy for post 16 learners. This means that all our current year 11, 12 and 13 students who plan to remain with us from September 2025, will need to re-apply for school transport by 31^st May 2025. Information about the Local Authority’s new policy can be found here. The link for the new application form is here.

If you have any questions regarding this, you can either email sthf-attendance@coopacademies.co.uk with your queries and Isma will be in touch with you, or if you would prefer to speak to Isma please email with your child’s name and your contact number so she can call you at an available time. Please do not call the attendance phone to arrange your meeting or to query transport as this may delay the support you may be able to provide you.

If you need help filling out the application form, please come into school via our main grange reception on the following dates:

• Wednesday 14^th May anytime between 11am and 1.30pm (Location: CPD Area, Training Room 2)
• Thursday 15^th May anytime between 11am and 1.30pm (Location: CPD Area, Training Room 2
• Tuesday 20th May anytime between 10am-1.30pm (Location: CPD Area, Training Room 2)

If you don’t need support filling out your application form, but require a copy of your child’s EHCP and their ‘This is Me’ document for supporting evidence, you can collect it at any of the above times.

Please also remember that supporting evidence for your transport application can include:

• Medical letters
• Support from your Local MP
• If you/ your partner has a disability, please provide medical evidence
• Support from a social worker/ early help worker
• Any other support/documents from any professionals involved
• EHCP document (Must collect from school)
• This is me document (Must collect from school)
