Co-op Academy Southfield is proud to be in partnership with Magic Breakfast, providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn.
Magic Breakfast provides nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their
lessons. We run 3 seperate breakfast clubs across school. Last week we had a visit from a Magic Breakfast representative and we received this feedback:

There was a good selection of Magic Breakfast options available like the cereals, bagels and the porridge, as well as some other options to ensure you are meeting the dietary requirements of all the children. Having fruit available is also a great way to ensure you are meeting School food standards and offering the children a more nutritious breakfast.

The way you have planned the breakfast mean the children get so many different life skills from the provision, whether that is table manners, sitting with children outside of their class or helping to prepare the food. On that note, I wanted to say what a fantastic job Jack was doing and it was clear how committed he was to his role. It’s such a great way to build confidence and independence. The rest of the staff were doing a fabulous job as well of course, and their knowledge of the children attending really helps the breakfast to have a welcoming atmosphere.

It was great to see that no matter what time the children arrive- they are able to access breakfast at the start of the day, every day and ensure they are ready to learn. You could tell some of the children were really looking forward to it and the way it is built into the school day means all children can access it without stigma.
