Turner Prize Trip
The Turner Prize is one of the UK’s most prestigious contemporary art exhibitions, celebrating innovative and challenging artwork by leading artists.
This year’s exhibition is particularly significant as the winner is the first Turner Prize recipient with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Their work explores identity, expression, and alternative ways of communicating ideas through art.
Students will use the exhibition as a source of visual inspiration for our graffiti and street art project in Art this term, exploring themes such as personal voice, bold imagery, and non-traditional materials and techniques.
The visit will support students in developing creative ideas, critical thinking, and confidence in their own artistic expression.
