Staff working with children are advised to maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’ where safeguarding is concerned.

When concerned about the welfare of a child, staff should always act in the best interests of the child. If staff have any concerns about a child, they should act on them immediately by informing a member of the Safeguarding Team below.

The safeguarding team are available Monday to Thursday, 8am till 4pm and 8am till 3.30pm on Fridays. We can be reached on 01274 779662 ext 341/122

These times may vary in half terms.

In the event that the identified people cannot be contacted, and you are concerned about the welfare of a child, please call Bradford Children's Services on 0800 953 0966 during office hours or the Emergency Duty Team on 01274 431010 outside of usual office hours.

If you are concerned about the welfare of a vulnerable adult, please call 01274 431077 or 01274 431010. 

If you believe a child is at immediate risk of harm, please contact the police on 101 or 999.
