Staff working with children are advised to maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’ where safeguarding is concerned.

When concerned about the welfare of a child, staff should always act in the best interests of the child. If staff have any concerns about a child, they should act on them immediately by informing a member of the Safeguarding Team below.

If you believe a child is at immediate risk of harm please contact the police on 101 or 999.
